Patient Privacy is central to our ethos, and surgical and medical wards share no more than two patients. OPERATING THEATRES

Designed with your safety and care in mind, our operating theatres cater to everything needed to work optimally.

TWO MAJOR THEATRES: Modular Stainless Steel Theatres. The controlled area makes for a disinfectant and operative environment.

  1. Positive pressure differential between OT and adjoining areas to prevent outside air entry into OT.
  2. Air handling in the OT, including air Quality: Air is supplied through Terminal HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters in the
  3. Air Filtration: The AHU (i.e. air handling unit) must be an air purification unit and air filtration unit with HEPA filters of efficiency 99.97% down to 3 microns or higher efficiency. Air quality is Class 100/ISO Class 5. Class 100 means a cubic foot of air should not exceed 0.5 microns or larger.

We do everything from emergency to scheduled operations carefully while upholding our values. In collaboration with the head of anaesthetics, the nursing supervisor plans the allocation of the operating theatres by speciality, coordinates the preparation of the surgical instruments needed, ensures the availability of all consumables and implants needed per operation and assigns the staff of the department to the operating theatres.
